Hey I like your SAG dress

I might have missed the ball on this one but the Screen Actor’s Guild awards took place this week and honored outstanding work in both film and television. Of the winners, Slumdog Millionaire, the best movie of the last four years, took the award for best outstanding performance by a cast in motion picture. From the Golden Globes to SAG, Slumdog is dominating awards and the cast is getting tons of red carpet action. But I’ll be the last one to complain about that!

Other notable wins:
Sean Penn for Outstanding Performance by a male actor in a leading role
Meryl Streep for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role
Heath Ledger for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role
Kate Winslet for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role
See here for the rest.

And of course, the fashion didn’t disappoint.
Kate Winslet looked great in a purple Narciso Rodriguez gown. She has really been lighting up the red carpet this season and no one can argue that this is definitely her year. (Photo by: Jason Merritt / Getty Images)

Another purple favorite was Amy Adams in Giambattista Valli. Love the detail in the front, it really adds something different to the dress. (Photo by: Jason Merritt / Getty Images)

Anne Hathaway looked perfect in white Azzaro. Her pale skin looked lovely against the white, a fashion choice a lot of people would have shyed away from. (Photo by: Jeff Vespa / Wireimage)

Tina Fey braved the January temperature in a short Brian Reyes cocktail dress, a bold choice in a sea of floor length gowns. (Photo by: Jason Merritt / Getty Images)

Probably my favorite outfit of the night came courtesy of Katie Holmes who wore Jil Sander to the event. You can totally see the Victoria Beckham influence in her knock-out style. (Photo by: Kevin Mazur / Wireimage)

Love the feathers on the gown America Ferrera wore by Vera Wang. Mmmmmm…:) (Photo by: Steve Granitz / Wireimage)

Claire Danes looked gorgeous in a red Nina Ricci gown. I loved how the shoulder accent just gave it an extra kick. (Photo by: Frazer Harrison / Getty Images)

I loved Katie’s dress. I have to say, though, I hated Tina Fey’s. Love her, not her style

I loved Tina’s dress! She was wearing Brian Reyes who is an amazing designer and one of my favorite up and coming names! She looks like she loves it too.
