In case you haven’t noticed, I have stopped contributing to this blog because I’ve started a brand new project. It’s not dedicated to afros but I will be writing more regularly about media, culture, fashion, music and my favorite afros. Check it out at www.mitzifigueroa.com.

I know I haven’t been around in a while but it’s for good reason. I’ve been busy taking pictures for my good friend Stephen Pham’s blog. Check it out here! Under normal circumstances, I would never consider myself a “street photographer” and I still don’t think I’m very good but at least you guys can get a feel for how cool Stephen is.
